Kassidy and Max Todd recently returned from the Junior Nationals in Quebec, where the top qualifying athletes from all over Canada under the age of 18 were competing.
The Apex Freestyle Club was well represented. Apex Freestyle Club athletes who qualified and competed at Canadian Jr. Nationals last week: Matt Finlayson, Cam Kapusty, Madison Parker, Kassidy Todd, Mackenzie Schwinghamer, Brayden Kuroda, Max Todd, Joe Durham and Koleton Phipps.
These skiers brought home a total of five gold, two silver and two bronze.
Kassidy finished fifth in moguls, first in aerials and won gold for combined score in Aerials/Moguls.
Max was eighth in moguls, fourth in aerials and won a silver medal for his overall combined score in aerials/moguls.
