Canada’s premier ultimate frisbee tournament flicks back to Kelowna

The Sunflicker Tournament features 32 teams from B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Seattle

The Sunflicker Ultimate Tournament returns to the city this weekend.

Kelowna Ultimate Players Society (KUPS) is competing in the event at Mission Recreation Park on Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5.

Sunflicker will feature an impressive lineup of 32 teams from B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Seattle.

“Ultimate is a heart-stopping, edge-of-your-seat spectacle for fans and newcomers alike,” said Paul Brain, KUPS president. “If you want to get a taste of what our game is like at its best, you need to check out this tournament.

The championship game is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
