Thanks, but no thanks for free furniture

Do not expect someone else to clean up after you when you leave your trash in the street.

To the Editor:

I just wanted to thank whoever you are for leaving your broken furniture with the “free” sign at the end of my driveway on Third Avenue. Maybe next time you could walk / drive the “extra mile” and take it to the dump where it belongs, or leave it on your property and not someones else’s. Do not expect someone else to clean up after you!

As I am handicapped, I now have to find someone to help me dispose of it, and probably pay your disposal fee for you.
