The speed bump on Fourth Street has become a quest of the Suttons to have them removed, but take into consideration the fact that on that side of Memorial Park is a kids play area.
Kids are unpredictable and could run out onto the street, so (I would assume) the Village took this into consideration when they decided how they would control traffic speed on the street in order to avoid a potential mishap.
We should thank the Village for trying to protect our kids. If you are so concerned about speed bumps try going down the alley behind the Pharmasave and try to justify why there are speed bumps there.
