To the Editor:
I got a phone call form the federal government. They said that I qualify for their “action plan” because I have a small business, Cawston Glass.
I asked what that meant. They said, “We will lend you some money.”
I would have to pay it back with interest.
I said, “Your so-called action plan is to put small business in more debt than they already are. What a joke.
I also said, “No, thanks. Going backward is not the answer.”
I gave two suggestions:
Stop taxing my hydro bills, and stop taxing the gas I use to do my job.
That fell on deaf ears. It should be called the governments “No action plan.” I hope the rest of you are not fooled by their many ads on T.V. They have no plan at all.
