Sail on O Ship of State!
Sail on O Union strong and great!
Humanity with all its fears,
With all its hopes of future years,
Is hanging breathless on thy fate.
It may now be the time for someone somewhere in the British Commonwealth to send those same lines to the new incumbents in the Oval Office at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, D.C.
