To the Editor:
A tremendous thank you to all who continue to support the food bank so generously with money and by filling the shopping cart at Valley First Credit Union.
Without all of your support we could not stay open and there are a lot of people who rely on us.
As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving this weekend and are planning food to put on our table, let us remember those less fortunate and perhaps add a little extra to the shopping cart or the food bank account at Valley First.
A few suggestions for food:
peanut butter has become expensive, healthy snacks for children’s lunches, pancake mix and syrup, spaghetti sauce, cake mixes, just to mention a few - but everything is always gratefully accepted and needed.
So once again, on behalf of our clients at the food bank, thank you and God bless you.
