In loving memory ~
Joyce Schneider passed away peacefully in her home on May 3, 2023 at the age of 93 surrounded by her children, Bryan (Susie), Dale (Rita), Dianne, and Dean (Joanne). Loved forever by her 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Joyce was born 1929 in Swift Current, SK. and moved to Keremeos in 1944. She soon met the love of her life, Cliff Schneider, and were married in 1947. Along with raising 4 children she had many jobs, from running an orchard and fruit stand, delivering the mail, to working in the drugstore for almost 20 years. She had a passion for giving back to the community, especially when it involved helping children. This led her to being a Royal Purple volunteer for 60 years. Cliff and Joyce enjoyed their retirement together training and racing horses. Nothing brought her more joy than her family. Joyce was the best mom, nana, and nana Strawberry.
Forever in our hearts.
There will be no service at her request. Donations can be made in her honor to Kyalami Place at https://www.lscss.com/assisted-living, a place she called home for 4 years.
