She was born January 2, 1928 at Winkler Manitoba, and passed away January 8, 2018 at the Prince George Hospice House, surrounded by family members.
Helen will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughter Linda (Tom) Crow, her son Clyde (Pat) Sharpe, and grandchildren; Kimberly Crow, Alison Pow, Lindsay Sharpe, Leah Sharpe, and Spencer Sharpe.
She was very proud to be the Great Grandmother (GG) of Luka and Mila Tabak, Eleanor Pow, and Amelia and Isabella Sharpe.
Mom was a fiercely independent woman, not afraid to tackle any problem she encountered. She was a hardworking individual who loved to work in her yard, keep a meticulously clean house and visit with family whenever she could.
She cherished her close friendship with "The Birthday Girls", afternoon visits with Helene, and her Friday morning hair appointment with her friend Sarah, followed by a lunch date with Doreen. Her dog, Pedro, was her constant companion and kept her active.
Mom will be reunited with her husband, Jack, when family members travel to Mile 401 of the Alaska Highway to honour her request.
