Frances Jaqueline 'Jackie' Mathiasen passed away suddenly at the Penticton Regional Hospital on Dec. 13th, 2022 at the age of 85 years.
Jackie was predeceased by her husband, Erik Mathiasen; and two brothers, Richard and Danny. Jackie is survived by her children; Carl Vaughn Mathiasen and fiancé Michelle, Bradley Wayne Mathiasen and partner Therese, Eric Shane Mathiasen and wife Linda, Linda Marie Gosselin and husband Dale, and Colleen Erika Mathiasen and partner Jeff; four sisters, Dolores, Darlene, Debbie and Geri; brother, Art; all of her grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews with many more extended family and friends .
She spent a great part of her life caring for her husband, children and grandchildren as she enjoyed cooking wonderful meals for all her family get togethers. Jackie worked many years of her life as well as being a content homemaker. Canning and baking, crocheting and needlepoint were just some of her favourite pastimes.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Keremeos B.C. this coming spring {March} and dates will be announced in the local paper. Condolences and Tributes may be left for the family by visiting www.everdenrust.com.
