In loving memory ~
All those who knew Brian would agree he was a generous man; helping people fed his soul.
He settled over 2 decades ago in Keremeos to be close to his sister. His little house downtown soon saw a steady flow of visitors for many years. His acceptance and non-judgement of all allowed him to have an eclectic collection of dedicated friends.
The laughs and conversations had there will be well remembered by all who walked through that door.
Brian referred to himself as a redneck hippie, and all he wanted after his school years in Greenwood was a lunch kit and a steady paycheck. He followed in his father's footsteps and got what he wanted by happily working much of his days in Kelowna at West Kootenay Power as a lineman. He thought of many in those crews as his extended family. Brian loved toys. Boats, sports cars, convertibles, trucks, motorcycles, tractors; he at one point or another owned them all. The combustion engine brought him much joy and was his escape with many days spent road-tripping and floating on Okanagan Lake.
He travelled the world visiting his son and family living in Dubai and Sri Lanka, and for many years enjoyed winter trips to Mexico.
Brian was a radical man and liked to rock the boat. His unconventional way of living extended into an unconventional way of dying. He was the bravest man you may have known.
Adios Brian.
All who knew you loved you.
Peace.
