Born in Vancouver on May 28, 1929 she was the seventh of nine children.
Betty was a teacher in Port Coquitlam where she met Albert who was the janitor at Glen Elementary School. They were married December 22nd 1950. They lived on Glen Dr. where they raised their three children. They then moved to Maple Ridge for a short time before moving to Keremeos in 1993. Betty moved to Penticton in 2018 where she stayed until her passing.
Betty loved to travel and did so, when she could. Disney Land, Hawaii, Australia, cruising and a train trip across Canada, were her most memorable. She also enjoyed her family and friends who would stop in to visit and stay with her in Keremeos where they would play cards and talk into the early hours.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation, in Betty's name be made to Heart and Stroke at https://hsf.donorportal.ca/
