Hours of construction at the Yellow Lake highway improvements are on the rise.
Starting June 2nd, 2011, Wiltech Developments, main contractors for the six million dollar highway widening project announced recently that they will be adding 24 hour single lane alternating traffic to the current work schedule, including Sundays.
Current road closures along Highway 3A at Yellow Lake include one hour closures between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., as well as a one hour closure between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. daily. The road is open for 10 minute periods on the hour and half hour during construction periods.
