Proceeds from the third Annual Osoyoos Celebrity Wine Festival will go towards vulnerable children and youth of the South Okanagan through United Way.
The event will take place from June 9 to 12. It is a four-day weekend that combines food, wine, celebrities, and community.
“The local wine industry wants to see kids succeed,” said Glenn Fawcett. “We looked around the community to see how best we could help and felt that we could reach the most children through United Way.”
Through fundraising and community development United Way supports local social service agencies that help vulnerable children, families, and seniors.
“We are thrilled that the Osoyoos Celebrity Wine Festival wants to support United Way,” said United Way Coordinator for the South Okanagan Similkameen, Tracy St. Claire. “We know how much difference support like this can make in a child’s life and for the community as a whole.”
