An extensive search involving police, citizens and a helicopter in and around Keremeos on Tueday, June 24 turned out to be less serious than it looked, said and Keremeos RCMP spokesperson.
The search for a missing woman came to an end early Wednesday morning when the missing woman surfaced at the Diagnostic and Treatment Centre. She had been missing for 12 hours.
“It looked like a serious situation Tuesday night, but as it turned out, it looked worse than it was,” said a spokesman for the police.
