The B.C. Provincial election held on Tuesday, May 14 held more than a few surprises across the province with a majority Liberal win.

Liberals managed to maintain their hold on the Boundary Similkameen riding as well, with Linda Larson besting Sam Hancheroff of the NDP by 1,197 votes.

Here’s how the riding tallied up at the end of Tuesday night’s ballot count:

Linda Larson, Liberal 7,853

Sam Hancheroff, NDP 6,656

John Kwasnica Green Party 1,481

Mischa Popoff, Independent 608
