A power outage is currently affecting homes from the Penticton Indian Band to Summerland along the southwest side of Okanagan Lake on Thursday morning.
The outage is currently affecting 571 properties according to FortisBC’s map.
Power first went out around 8:47 a.m. and there is no current estimate for when it will be restored.
The cause of the outage is also unknown at this time.
