Penticton’s Coyote Cruises vandalized, staff members working to remove graffiti

The graffiti condones violence against B.C.’s top doctor Bonnie Henry

Coyote Cruises in Penticton was vandalized this week with graffiti condoning violence against B.C.’s top doctor Bonnie Henry.

Staff members have since been working to wash off the graffiti.

The business, located at 214 Riverside Dr., was vandalized with two separate statements — one that references Henry by name and another one to the left of it reading “The government is lying to you!”

The graffiti has since faded thanks to the work of staff members washing off the writing.

Coyote Cruises provides Penticton residents and tourists alike with the opportunity to float down the city’s river channel.

Tube rentals are available throughout the spring and summer, with a shuttle service transporting people back to where they began.

The graffiti is currently visible on the wall of the building that faces the walkways across from the river channel.
