The Okanagan Falls Hotel has applied to the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch for a permanent change to a liquor license to change the hours of sale. The current hours of operation are 11 a.m.—12 midnight Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday to Saturday. The hours of operation that have been requested are 11 a.m.—1 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m.—2 a.m. Thursday to Sunday. The request for the change in hours is to accommodate entertainment bands that play until 1 a.m. to 1:30 a.m, Thursday to Saturday. The RDOS Board will advise the liquor control and licensing branch that they will not provide comment on the Okanagan Falls Hotel Ltd. Application for a permanent change to a liquor license and opts out of the process.
