Kathy Strobbe, Project Technician, recently informed the Keremeos-Cawston Sportsmen Association in a telephone conversation of the current Ministry’s plan regarding the pullouts along Yellow Lake.
The small pullout near the west end ( Keremeos side ) will be eliminated.
The pullout beside the pump house will be enhanced to accommodate approximately 40-50 per cent more vehicles.
The large pullout on the sharp corner ( Twin Lake side ) will remain with possibly a “one way in, one way out” arrangement.
The ministry will reserve the right to close any of these pullouts, should a safety need arise.
The ministry would also like to have another meeting with the concerned organizations to go over these changes, sometime in early September.
