The Community Foundation of the South Okanagan has scheduled a second community meeting for members of the public interested in learning about its regional development and community committee initiatives in the Similkameen area.
Sarah Trudeau of The Community Foundation of the South Okanagan will meet with those who are interested at the Cawston Community Hall at 2 p.m. Friday, March 22.
The CFSO will be speaking to the group about forming a committee to help advise the foundation on granting in their community and fund development.
The CFSO grants over $100,000 annually to support a broad range of charities delivering a wide variety of programs within the Regional District Okanagan Similkameen.
In total the CFSO has granted $23,000 to the Cawston and Keremeos area.
