Again tonight (Saturday) the ghouls and goblins will be roaming the halls of Princess Margaret Secondary School.
The annual Haunted House, in celebration of the season and involving 35 to 40 students dressed in their Halloween best, runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
“It’s put on by the Youth Advisory Committee at the school and we’re raising funds for the YES (Youth Engagement Strategy Project) and school theatre projects,” said student Hussain Sattar Haunted House co-organizer. “As a committee we focus on a lot of crisis happening in Penticton and we work to help people and the YES project is going to build a youth resources centre specifically for youth.”
Last year the Haunted House raised $1,300 and Sattar hopes with the extra days added to this year’s event they can double the amount.
Tickets are available at the door.
