An unfortunate incident happened to an Okanagan Falls business, a person saying they were a representative of the Okanagan Falls Legion #227 collected money owing from that business for a poppy wreath. Unfortunately this person was not from the legion and left the business feeling very embarrassed. Any representative from the legion collecting money would be in uniform, and will in future be carrying a card authorizing that person.
