A message from the Village of Keremeos Thursday morning read: “On behalf of Telus, the Village of Keremeos is letting Telus customers in the Keremeos area know that a motor vehicle accident this morning severed a fibre line. Telus will be working throughout the day to restore service. Some customers may experience service disruptions.”
Most of the power was restored to Princeton before noon. As of 2 p.m. all the power was restored to Keremeos except for 230 customers near Sunkatchers.
The crash took place before 8 a.m. Not much is known about the crash but it appears that it may have been a van that crashed and then caught fire.
