Construction work is going to restrict access to Oliver’s Kinsmen Park for the next three weeks.

Work beginning on Feb. 9 will restrict the parking lot and access to the spray park, but will not delay drivers along Fairview Road, according to a release from the town.

H&M Excavating will be upgrading the storm pipe to alleviate issues with the stormwater systems on Station Street, Main Street and Fairview Road.

The work will require some of the park’s equipment and some trees be removed in order for the new pipes to be installed but will be remediated for public use in the spring.

Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians are asked to be aware of the ongoing work safety instructions and construction crews in the area.
