Growing up in the majesty of British Columbia’s southern interior has inspired in Bryan a lifetime of wonder and awe for the natural environment and a deep thirst for protecting it. While he spends his off time teaching wilderness awareness, hiking, camping, learning about nature and protecting it, Bryan’s work, through his own software development consulting firm, is in the fast passed corporate world of downtown Calgary as well as in an artistic media business which produces CD’s, children’s books, and screenplays. He is able to straddle both those worlds – calm and hectic, organic and manufactured, artistic and analytic.
Bryan is determined to bring environmental sustainability to British Columbia’s Southern Interior while creating jobs and prosperity with innovative solutions like making the riding a telecommute center for excellence. Bryan is known for his ‘outside the box’ solutions where all parties are pleased and the harm is minimized ethically, morally, and environmentally. Bryan is married with four children.
Bryan Hunt is the nominated Green Party of Canada candidate in the riding of British Columbia Southern Interior.
