The Penticton Museum and Archives is commemorating Remembrance Day with six banners honouring six local servicemen who gave their lives in the First or Second World War.
Each banner shows the name, military rank, unit name and photo of individual servicemen whose names can be found on the Penticton cenotaph and who gave their lives in the First and Second World War.
The servicemen are: Leonard V. Adams, Clifford G. DeBeck, William J. Nesbitt, James E. Clark, Donald B. Hillier and Jack H. Sammet.
The banners are located in the 100 block of Main Street in front of City Hall.
The hope is to expand the banners to include more veterans from Penticton in the coming years.
