Penticton’s Beer Run is back. Ten Penticton craft beer tastings along a scenic 10-km course with a beer at the finish line to top off the day on Saturday, Oct. 14.
Starting at Penticton’s newest brewery, Abandoned Railway, participants will enjoy this year’s route starting out by cruising down the KVR trail as they sample their way through Penticton.
Tastings from Barley Mill, Cannery, Tin Whistle, Neighbourhood, Slackwater, Highway 97, Firehall, Giant’s Head, Yellow Dog, and Abandoned Railway are included.
Partial proceeds will again be donated to the Youth Outdoor Recreation Society, a not-for-profit that supports getting local youth active in the outdoors, promoting healthy lifestyles and mental health through outdoor recreation opportunities.
For several years, Penticton’s Hoodoo Adventures Company has put on the fun run that sees participants dress up in the craziest costumes they can find.

October is also Penticton Beer Block Week.
The fifth annual edition of the city-wide celebration returns from Oct. 13 to 22, and there’s a new brewery ready to get in on giving back to the community.
Port Moody-based Yellow Dog Brewing is now in Penticton joining beer-week festivities and collaborating on the Do Good Beer of 2023 in Penticton.
