OK Falls Hotel invites guests to their haunted basement

Haunted Hotel will tour down the stairs into the creepy basement from Oct. 25 to 31

The OK Falls Hotel has transformed into the Haunted Hotel, inviting guests into their scary basement if they dare.

The Haunted Hotel will take guests down the stairs down through the creepy basement where there is a winding path below the creeky bar floor. The basement will showcase many scary elements that tie back to the hotel’s roots, maybe even revealing some of its secrets.

The OK Falls Hotel was built and opened in 1950, and is an original historic building of the community.

It housed many ranchers and railroaders along the KVR — some with not all ‘good intentions,’ said OK Falls Hotel staff who have been working on putting together the Haunted Hotel.

OK Falls Hotel’s Randy Stoltz really wanted to breathe life into the community and bring people together. The Haunted Hotel is just another way of doing that.

Entry is by donation and no appointment is necessary. All proceeds go to the OK Falls Fire Department.

There will be hot chocolate and goodies for the kiddos that make it thru. The bar will be open regular hours for those that want to relax after and get a bite or a drink.

The Haunted Hotel runs from Oct. 25 to 31, from 5 to 9 p.m. each day. The early hours will be family-friendly. From 7 to 9 p.m. will be extra scary for the brave ones.

The OK Falls Hotel was brought back to life and opened under new ownership in April.
