Country music superstar Brett Kissel coming to Oliver

The Albertan brings his hits to the Venables Theatre stage on Nov. 25

A Canadian country music giant is coming to the South Okanagan.

Brett Kissel plays Oliver’s Venables Theatre on Nov. 25, with the Albertan set to bring his voice, guitar and a long list of accolades to the venue.

Kissel’s show in Oliver is part of his nationwide Compass Tour, which includes stops in Kelowna, Nanaimo and Victoria. His show in Kelowna is Nov. 24.

The 33-year-old rose to fame after the release of his 2013 track and album, both fittingly titled Started with a Song.

He has since toured with country legends Garth Brooks and Brad Paisley while delivering several top-10 hits in Canada.

Kissel’s tour across the nation this fall goes along with the release of his new four-part album series, The Compass Project. The first two installments, titled The South Album and The East Album, have already been released.

Part No. 3 of the concept, The West Album, is set to be released Nov. 3.

Before he comes Oliver, Kissel can be seen performing during the 2023 Heritage Classic on Oct. 29, featuring the Edmonton Oilers versus the Calgary Flames at Commonwealth Stadium.

His show at Venables Theatre starts at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased here.
