Penticton's 9th Annual Peach City Beach Cruise is set for June 26, 27 and 28 and will feature over 600 vehicles from western Canada, the northwest USA and as far away as Arizona and Texas.
The fun kicks off Friday evening with the parade of vehicles from Skaha Lake to Okanagan Lake and continues with a display of cars along Lakeshore Drive and 3 days of live entertainment in Gyro Park as well as food vendors. This year the Beach cruise has partnered with the Electric Garage.com to present an exciting, "Barrett-Jackson" style, Collector Car Auction to be held at the Lakeside Resort.
The Peach City Beach Cruise is a fundraiser for the Penticton Historic Automobile society, which plans to build and maintain an automobile museum in Penticton. It will eventually include full-time instruction facilities in the art of automobile restoration techniques.
