Imagine the possibilities: Summer Reading Club at Keremeos Library

Kids of all ages are invited to imagine the possibilities during the BC Summer Reading Club (SRC) at the Keremeos Library.

As part of the club, youngsters can attend entertaining educational events in July and August that explore this year’s theme: Imagine the Possibilities.

Patrick Lamontagne from Okanagan World of Reptiles is visiting the branch with some of his creatures on July 12 from 7 to 8 p.m.

Magician Leif David is set to return to Keremeos with another special magic show on July 26 from 7 to 8 p.m.

For those interested in the astronomy, Colleen O’Hare from the Royal Dominion Astronomical Society is talking about the possibilities of life on other planets on Aug. 7.

Youth will have the chance to look through a telescope and learn about the night sky from 7 to 8 p.m.

To round off the series, the SRC Wind Up Party will take place at on Aug. 21 from 7 to 8 p.m.

The BC Summer Reading Club is designed to build literacy by helping children gain confidence in their reading skills while engaging with their public libraries.
