The Grist Mill Foundation is inviting everyone interested in the preservation and sharing of the site to their upcoming AGM.

The volunteer-run Grist Mill Foundation is a registered charitable society focused on supporting the operation of the Grist Mill and Gardens, in cooperation with the Grist Mill Community Contribution Corporation.

The AGM is free to attend, with annual memberships for the Foundation available at the meeting for $5. At the meeting, there will be an update on the previous year’s operations, and future plans for the Foundation.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. on March 18, at the Grist Mill.

In 2019, more than 50 people contributed almost 600 hours to community events and other activities that help keep the site focused on providing a benefit to our region.

The foundation is also looking for board members, who have fundraising, grant-writing, project management, nonprofit governance or event coordination experience.
