Ad Associate Tina Selway will cover advertising needs for the Review in Keremeos and the Spotlight in Princeton.

The Keremeos Review and the Similkameen Spotlight are pleased to announce the appointment of Tina Salway as Advertising Sales Associate.

“I am really looking forward to getting to know the business owners in both of these great little communities,” said Tina Salway.  Salway and her family moved to Princeton in 2007 on Halloween night and have never looked back.  Now that their three children have become more self-sufficient, Salway is ready to leap back into the work force.

Salway grew up in Nanaimo and met her craftsman husband Sean on the Island.  The couple moved around the Lower Mainland from Port Moody, Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge before packing their bags and heading east.  “City life just got too hectic for us,” said Salway.  “Sean and I wanted to raise our kids in a small town and will probably never go back to the city to live full time again.  We love it here.”

With a background in investment RESPs and a desire to become a career gal, Salway saw the position with Black Press as a win win.  “I will still operate my  purebred Siberian cat business from home, but I am definitely going to enjoy being out and about working in the public again.”  Salway doesn’t have a lot of spare time between her three kids who are active in sports and her husband who operates his own business “Great Kitchens,” but when she does she enjoys running, reading and photography.

The staff of the Keremeos Review extend a hearty welcome to their newest team member and look forward to getting to know Tina better.

“With Tina’s insight and drive, we look forward to her contribution towards providing customized, creative solutions for all our advertisers needs,”  Associate Publisher Tammy Sparkes said.
