Dear Editor:
I would like to express my wholehearted, unequivocal thank you to the courteous, conscientious, professional folks at the Integra Tire Centre in Summerland.
On Thursday, June 8, I was driving to Penticton to sing with the Young at Heart Singers at the Village By The Station on Hastings Street. Near my destination, the dashboard gauges screamed and lit up like a Christmas tree — (got my attention.)

The vehicle slowed precipitously so I pulled into a fortuitously adjacent gas station and rolled to a stop.
I phoned Carrie (my go-to person) at Integra (my go-to shop), to let them know. Carrie advised they could take care of the vehicle the next week (June 12 to 16). As I already had an appointment for Tuesday, June 13, I assumed the shop would utilize that time frame.
I phoned BCAA to come rescue me and take me home to Summerland to the Integra Tire Centre. Spent the weekend without my vehicle.
On Monday June 12 at noon, I received a phone call from Integra Tire advising that my vehicle was repaired and ready to go. Pleasant surprise.
When I arrived at Integra, a young man (at my age everyone is young), Nevada, took me to my vehicle and walked me through the cause of the breakdown and the efficacy of the repairs.
Thanks to Nevada for his personable, courteous demeanour while taking the time and exercising patience to thoroughly explain, and show me (a lay person), the end result. Any knowledge I obtain is beneficial.
As a woman and a senior, I feel secure and comfortable with my reliance on Integra staff, from first contact to mechanics and technicians, for their honesty, integrity, reliability and recommendations, to maintain my vehicle for me.
