Slide interupts traffic on West Bench Hill Road

A small slide interupted traffic on West Bench Hill Road early Saturday afternoon.

Traffic was reduced to single-lane alternating while crews waited for Argo road maintance crews to arrive to begin work.

Officials were not immediately available for comment however there are concerns the recent heavy rainfall may have been a factor. There is at least once residence immediately above the cliff which broke way and it’s not know if there is any danger of further compromise of the bank.
