Emergency services at the South Okanagan General Hospital are temporary unavailable once again due to limited physician availability.
At the Oliver-located hospital, emergency services will be closed from 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9 to 7 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10. All other inpatient services will continue as normal.
Residents in Oliver and the surrounding area who need life-threatening care are to call 911 for the transport to the nearest facility.
The emergency ward at Penticton Regional Hospital will be open during this time.
