Soundstage Productions brings fun musical showcase to Lakeside Resort from Jan. 17 to 20

Warm up with a great show and lots of laughter as Shrek the Musical comes to the Penticton Lakeside Resort.

Penticton’s own Soundstage Productions is bringing this massive show to life starting Wednesday, Jan. 17 through Jan. 20, starting at 7 p.m. each night, with a matinee on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Through the snow and the cold, there is no better way to shake off those winter blues than laughing your way through this musical delight directed by none other than Soundstage Productions’ Lynne Leydier who is known to bring big productions to Penticton.

The set alone is so impressive as are the elaborate costumes and puppets, including Dragon.

There’s Shrek, Fiona and don’t forget Donkey too!

Even Ruby Blues Winery’s wine shop manager Kerry Younie is the costume designer for the Soundstage Production. Many of Ruby Blues’ staff are also involved as well.

Actors from Penticton and as far as Kelowna have been practicing for months ahead of the show.

As with most Soundstage Productions, a live orchestra will accompany the show.

Last year, Soundstage brought Disney Plus Broadway Musical Showcase to the Lakeside for numerous sold-out shows.
