It’s a busy mid-April weekend in Penticton.
Here’s what’s happening this weekend from April 12 to 14:
Fest of Ale (April 12 and 13)
The 27th annual Okanagan Fest of Ale comes to the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre on Friday and Saturday.
A total of 70 breweries and ciders from across the province are set to come together and offer a total of 210 different beverages.
The event starts at 4 p.m. on Friday and at noon on Saturday.

Penticton Vintage Car Club returns for 47th year (April 12 to 13)
Penticton’s Vintage Car Club is back to showcase its collection of classic cars inside Cherry Lane Shopping Centre.
The show started on April 8 but concludes this weekend on Friday and Saturday.
From the 1930s-era vehicles to more recent models, attendees of the show will be asked to cast their votes to select their favourite.

Penticton Kiwanis Music Festival (April 12 to 13)
The Penticton Music Kiwanis Festival comes to Blue Church on Main Street on Friday and Saturday.
Performances – which include choral, classic voice and musical theatre – will run on both days, starting at 9 a.m.

Penticton Community Drumming Experience (April 14)
Instruments will be provided for anyone wanting to participate in the community event, which is described as a “fully interactive and immersive drumming experience.”
Drumming will take place on Sunday at The Standard Space, located at 124 Estabrook Avenue.
No experience is needed.

Taylor Van Zant comes to Cannery Brewing (April 14)
Okanagan-based singer and songwriter Taylor Van Zant comes to Cannery Brewing on Sunday night.
With an acoustic guitar in hand, Van Zant will play a two-hour set in the brewing’s taproom.
Show runs from 5 to 7 p.m. and there is no cover charge.
