Dear editor:

Re: ‘I hope this haunts him for the rest of his days’: Driver issued fine for fatal Hwy 97 crash

When will these ridiculous situations end? Tries to burn down an RCMP detachment, released, kills someone and now we wait for the next time? That’s not justice! In society’s quest to appease everyone, we are flailing in an environment where the innocent should fear those who flaunt the laws of the country repeatedly and are then protected by the legal system.

Canadians should be ashamed of what we have done to ourselves!
