The Penticton Vees have found yet another way to extend their win streak.

Fred Harbinson’s squad extended its win streak to 10 games on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 20, after mounting a third-period, come-from-behind victory against the Alberni Valley Bulldogs at the 2022 BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack.

After trailing 3-1 after two periods of play, Penticton scored six unanswered goals to secure a 7-4 victory.

A pair of third-period markers from Bradly Nadeau helped the Vees claw themselves back into the affair, with Ryan Hopkins, Owen Simpson, Dovar Tinling and Brett Moravec adding on shortly after.

Penticton’s victory comes less than 24 hours after a 6-2 triumph over the Chilliwack Chiefs.

The BCHL Showcase is a four-day, regular-season tournament that gives players the opportunity to play in front of a greater number of NHL scouts and NCAA coaches. Thursday’s slate of games marks the end of the showcase.

Vees goaltender Luca Di Pasquo made 19 saves in the win on Thursday, Nadeau continued his fast start to the season with three points.
