The Penticton Vees are keeping up the strong start to their pod season, picking up a shut-out win for game three of 20.

Luc Wilson picked up two goals and an assist on the way to helping the Vees take a 6-0 win over the Trail Smoke Eaters on April 8 at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

The first goal of the game, and his first in the BCHL, went to Grayson Arnott 6:29 into the game, with an assist from Wilson and Liam Malmquist.

Vees goalkeeper Kaeden Lane turned away all 20 shots that came his way to earn his first career BCHL shutout.

The Vees poured 50 shots at the Trail net during the game.

On Friday, April 9, the Vees are back for their second match against the Cranbrook Bucks. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m with the game broadcasted live on EZ Rock AM 800 as well as on HockeyTV.com
