Koyotes U18 team earns bronze in provincial tournament

The Koyotes U-18 fastball team placed third in the provincial tournament last weekend. Back row

Our local girls, the Koyotes U-18 fastball team won bronze last weekend at provincials held in Sicamous. The team won five out of seven games and were the youngest team in the tournament.

The team excelled in pitching, over the fence home runs and squeeze plays to win games.

The team will travel to Surrey to play in the Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship.

The 2016 Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship will be held from July 15 – 23, 2016.
