If you, or someone you know, in the south Similkameen area is having memory concerns, then you may be interested in a new service available through the Medical Arts Health Research Group.
This service includes a 60-minute appointment, during which the participant receives current state of the art memory tests. Participants will receive a copy of the results and advice on how to keep their memory active. Follow up appointments will be available for those who wish to track their memory results over time. As well, results can be made available to participant's family physician or specialist.
"We are excited to bring the free Memory Clinic to Keremeos for the first time," said Donna Benson, founder of Medical Arts Health Research Group.
She continued, "We know there are residents of the South Similkameen area who want to know about their memory and they also want ideas to keep their memory healthy. We are pleased to provide this service to them."
The Memory Clinic in Keremeos will be held Thursday March 2, 2017 at the South Similkameen Diagnostic Centre. The clinic is by appointment only and residents are urged to call early to ensure they get an appointment.
