“Tough enough to wear pink” ranch rodeo takes place this weekend

It’s time again for the annual fundraiser “Tough enough to Wear Pink”  ranch rodeo, which to date has raised over $15,000 for breast cancer. Now in its fifth year, the donations stay in our community, helping Penticton Regional Hospital purchase a mammography machine.

Teams of five riders, of all ages and abilities, will compete in the thrilling rodeo events of roping, barrel racing, cattle penning, and sorting.

Join us at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 4 and support your favourite team, cheer them on all afternoon, and stay for a steak barbeque in the evening.

There will also be a performance by the Marron Valley Girls Drill Team, a used tack sale and a silent auction.

The ranch rodeo is held at Watt’s arena, 795 Highway 3A,eight kilometres west of the Kaleden Junction. Admission is by donation, concession is available and  there is ample free parking.

Bring your family and friends, a lawn chair and your best yee-haw. Cowboy hats optional.
