Corrections timed for political purpose

Area “G” taxes are not the lowest in the regional district, Area “B’s” are - G is second

To the Editor:

I stand corrected, Area “G” taxes are not the lowest in the regional district, Area “B’s” are - G is second.

The election is over and elected people have been sworn in by now. I now can answer some of the things I have been accused for, like saying Area “G” has the lowest taxes in the RDOS. I admit being wrong, it is actually Area “B” as this year Area “G” has a $5,000 bylaw, untidy / unsightly premises.

B. Gould of Hedley wrote two days before voting day in a letter to the editor - why was this letter not written weeks before? Could it be so I would not have a chance to reply in time? B. Gould, who is quite an intelligent person (her own saying) wrote the editor and included a “table” even she knows that RDOS doesn’t have anything to do with or control - police, provincial, school, Hedley tax, etc., so why did she include these items? To confuse others? To discredit me? Yes, you guessed right.
