December 18, 1943 – November 21, 2020
Lillian Allison-Sanders passed peacefully at the Penticton Regional Hospital on November 21, 2020. She was born in the Oliver Hospital.
She trained in Office Administration, which led her to various jobs in Government and Community Organizations.
She sat as a Board Member and Director for the BC Aboriginal Network on Disability Society, Aboriginal Community Development, Elders Advisory Committee, BC Association of Community Response Networks.
She loved to be a part of the Similkameen Elders Club.
She was well loved by all, and she was always ready to share a smile with everyone.
She loved her Culture, and her Native Language.
She and her Casey enjoyed their home with all its beautiful flowers and hummingbirds. And they loved meeting people from all over through their Bed & Breakfast.
She is predeceased by: Parents: Mary & Bobbie Allison; Husband: Casey Sanders; Brother: Albert Charles Allison (Freida); Brother-in-law: Bob Heinrich
Survived by: Children: Donald Sanders, Sonja Sanders (Long), James Sanders, Ben Sanders. Sisters: Anne Allison, Barbara Allison (Henry Sr), Ramona Allison-Heinrich, Bernadine Allison.
The family would like to thank the Penticton Regional Hospital on the 6th Floor & ICU, and all those who gave their support through phone calls, cards, much love and prayers.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 25th at ‘Our Lady of Lourdes Parish’ at Chopaka B.C.
