Heighton, Sarah, Bernice (nee Mcivor) with sadness we announce the passing of Sarah Bernice at Polson Residential Care, Vernon, B.C. Predeceased by Husband Hugh Clark Heighton, Parents, Sisters Margaret and Faye. Survived by Long Time Companion Robby Kilborn, Brothers Vearl & Francis Mcivor WPG., Murray Calgary, Wayne and Carla Vernon, BC., Aunt Annette Mcivor WPG MB. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bernice was born and raised in Manitoba, spent most of her adult life in British Columbia, the last thirty-five plus years in Keremeos and Olalla. Bea's favorite pastime was bingo and will be remembered fondly by friends in the surrounding areas where bingo is still played.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nursing Staff at Sunshine Valley (PMU) for the kind and compassionate care.
At Bernices request cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
