Rejeanne Reichert, born Rejeanne Archambault, the daughter of Rene and Julienne Archambault was born in Duparquet, Quebec. Rejeanne grew up in a large family of sixteen so she always had room in her heart for so many people.

She grew up with her sisters - Irene, Marie, Yvette, Anita, Helen, Bernadette, and Jean - and her brothers - Eugene, Rene, Alfred, Etienne, Andre, Rejean, Julian, and Gerry. Although not quite sixteen children, Rejeanne had five children of her own - Clinton, Veronica, Laila, Carl, and Jennifer.

In 1981, Rejeanne was living in Edmonton with her five children and working as a nurse when she met and married her late husband Joe Reichert. This marked a new chapter in Rejeanne's life, where she moved to the community of Keremeos to raise her children with Joe.

She became an integral part of the community of Keremeos where she was heavily involved with the Church and local organizations. She was a strong practicing Catholic and was an active member of the Church, where she guided countless children during Catechism, and was a member of the Catholic Woman's League.

Keremeos was always very important to Rejeanne. She was a member of the Royal Purple and the Elks, where she could be seen volunteering at any and all of the local events. There was never a Rodeo where you did not see her working tirelessly (well if you looked fast enough since she was so busy it was always hard to track her down for more than a second).

One of the most important things in Rejeanne's life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who always lit a spark in her eyes. Rejeanne could regularly be seen toting around several little youngsters by her side.

Whether she was volunteering in the community or at the Church, running errands in town, or working in her garden, Rejeanne never stayed still.

Rejeanne was loved.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1298 Main Street, Penticton with interment at Keremeos Cemetery.
