While surrounded by family, Maynard Terbasket passed away on March 1, 2023 at the Moog Hospice House.
Maynard is survived by his son, Wade Terbasket; grandchildren, Wade, Hunter, Ruby, Agatha, Kali; and sisters, Terry Terbasket & Lynne Terbasket. Maynard was predeceased by his parents, August & Christine (Kruger) Terbasket, and brother, Dean Terbasket.
Funeral Service was held Monday, March 6, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the LSIB Gym, 1420 Hwy 3, South of Cawston with burial following at Chopaka Cemetery.
The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Louw & Lisa Porter of the Keremeos Diagnostic Centre, Dr. Weisgarber, Dr. Burles, Dr. Daniels of PRH, Dr. Yavin of KGH. A special thanks to all of the Nurses and wonderful Care Aides who took care of Maynard during his 2 month stay at the Penticton Regional Hospital. Thank you, Sandy Terbasket—Aboriginal Patient Navigator for always being there to assist Maynard and his family.
